Republican Party studies constitutional accusation against Minister Jackson: alludes to “irregularities” in Social Development

The Republican Party bench of deputies is considering constitutionally accusing Social Development Minister Giorgio Jackson for accusations of “irregularities, administrative errors and political pressures” in the portfolio, the party said.
“We have commissioned our committee and Republican Ideas to study all the background and information available to prepare the presentation of a constitutional accusation against Minister Giorgio Jackson for his political and legal responsibility in these matters,” they said from the bench, Emol collects.
The study will contemplate the accusations of the former seremi of Social Development of the Metropolitan Region Patricia Hidalgo against the Government. Hidalgo said she was fired for not obeying instructions on how to vote on bills she didn’t want to pass.
The government responded that Hidalgo’s dismissal was due to a “loss of confidence.” This, for “having formally ignored the presentation of complaints – an issue that is the obligation of every political authority and public official – before indications of the alleged rape of a girl in a care facility for homeless people located in the Metropolitan Region,” they said in a statement.
The Republican Party caucus indicated that the study will also include “the failed tender of the Better Childhood Service, which will leave more than 25,000 children without treatment.”
“As a first step, tomorrow (Monday) we will begin the collection of signatures to question Minister Giorgio Jackson and in the coming weeks we will study the background to reach the conclusion regarding the viability of a possible constitutional accusation,” they added.
