The PRO banked Milman: “Kirchnerism is mounting an electoral show”

The bloc of national deputies of the PRO closed ranks with Gerardo Milman after confirming that the Frente de Todos will present a bill to request its exclusion from the lower house for “moral incapacity”. According to NA, from the opposition they said that “Kirchnerism is mounting an electoral show.” Milman is a legislator very close to Patricia Bullrich and is being questioned for his alleged “involvement” in the assassination attempt against Vice President Cristina Kirchner on September 1. The petition for exclusion is signed by five national deputies of the ruling party and is based on the account of a witness who witnessed a meeting that took place on August 30 at the Casablanca café. There, the targeted would have confessed to two of his advisers that during the attack on the leader of Peronism he was going to be “on his way to the coast.” However, through a statement, the bloc chaired by Cristian Ritondo said: “Kirchnerism is mounting an electoral show and dictates, in advance, a conviction outside the Justice against the national deputy Gerardo Milman and the provincial deputy Florencia Retamoso, in order to equate the system of corruption that is investigated in the Courts and that the judges, in their respective instances, they have condemned numerous officials of the ruling party, including the current Vice President.” In that way, they added: “We are not going to commit the institutional grievance of the Kirchneristas who are masters in violating the Constitution.” At the same time, they indicated that they will continue to “respect the independent functioning of the three branches.” Finally, the opposition legislators concluded: “And when any member of the opposition that we compose is summoned by the Justice, we will trust it, so that each of the accused exercises his legitimate right to defense.”
