This time from the Wrangler brand: a new shipment of counterfeit clothing arrived destined for La Polar

A new precedent on counterfeit clothing destined for La Polar was announced during this day. And it is that a shipment of at least 10 thousand jeans of the Wrangler brand would have arrived yesterday at the port of San Antonio. Currently the contents remain in custody in the port.
It should be noted that the counterfeit garments would have become evident after the National Customs Service carried out a review of the contents of the cargo. In the audit, an analysis of its labeling was carried out, which would not have the same characteristics as the original.
Based on the facts, the brand’s representatives in Chile have already filed a lawsuit against the company, and asked that the jeans that are currently being sold in the store be seized.
From customs they will refer to the situation around noon of this day, while the national director of the service, Alejandra Arriaza Loeb, will review one of the loads in the field. In addition, they will announce a new complaint against the company for allegedly selling counterfeit clothing.
It is important to mention that there are currently several legal actions against La Polar for selling counterfeit clothing of the brands Adidas, Levi’s, Under Armour, Columbia and Nike. In addition, there are accusations that indicate that the store would have exhibited in its windows second-selection clothing, without specifying that it was.
Faced with this, La Polar defended itself with an advertising campaign that contained the slogan “brands live in who uses them”, highlighting that they would have worked on a business model so that all their customers could access original brands at a lower price.
