“Mariachis”: trailer and release date of the new Mexican production

HBO Max presented the trailer and official art for its new original Mexican series, “Mariachis,” which will arrive on March 2 on the platform. This production will make us rethink how powerful music is to bring back memories, and what if this is the only option not to forget? It stars Rosendo Cuevas (played by Pedro Fernández), patriarch of the family suffers a sudden and aggressive onset of Alzheimer’s that could take away more than thirty years of his life, including those in which he began with his great passion, music. Through it and its memories, we will see the culture of a country with its culture and customs that have endured over time. This situation can only be reversed with the help of his wife Lucia and his two sons Jorge and Pedro who will seek to help him remember, motivating him to do what he has loved most, music, so they will form a mariachi band to delay the process of the disease with its terrible sequelae. But this fact will bring to light matters that were believed to have been sheltered in the trunk of closed issues. The series will pay homage to Mexican vernacular music – which serves as a backdrop to tell this story – and where episode by episode, it will take us back to the era of Mexican golden cinema that saw the birth of icons of culture such as Pedro Infante, Jorge Negrete, María Félix, Pedro Armendáriz, Dolores del Rio, Javier Solís. Mariachis” stars Pedro Fernández, Consuelo Duval, Alberto Estrella, Vadhir Derbez, Regina Orozco, Antonio Mauri, Nya de la Rubia, Constanza Andrade, Paco Rueda, Ricardo Polanco, David Caro, José Ángel Bichir, Estefanía Hinojosa and Toño Mauri.
