It will be the chambers Gustavo Adrián Herbel and Carlos Fabián Blanco -and if there is dissidence, Ernesto García Maañón will join-, who will define the future of the eight health professionals, after this hearing scheduled for March 7. Maradona, one of the greatest figures in the history of world football, died at age 60 of pulmonary edema and heart failure on November 25, 2020 in a house in the private neighborhood of San Andrés, Tigre, where he was going through a questionable home hospitalization for his addiction to alcohol and after having undergone neurosurgery. The autopsy established that he died as a result of “acute pulmonary edema secondary to exacerbated chronic heart failure” and discovered in his heart a “dilated cardiomyopathy”. The chats between the accused made it clear that Maradona had been deteriorating for days, that he did not eat well, that he did not get out of bed and that he was edematized and with tachycardia, signs of heart failure that none of the treating professionals took seriously to prevent the outcome.
