Thousands of people participated in the Night of the Bookstores in the City

The streets of the City of Buenos Aires became this Saturday evening in an open-air book fair, in a new edition of La Noche de las Librerías.According to the Ministry of Culture of Buenos Aires, more than 95 thousand people enjoyed this classic event of the Buenos Aires cultural agenda, which this year had as its axis the 40th anniversary of the return of democracy. On Corrientes Avenue, between Callao and Cerrito, more than 50 activities could be enjoyed, with readings, writing workshops, talks, music and bookstores open until dawn, in addition to the presence of authors such as Martín Kohan, Selva Almada, Claudia Piñeiro and Luciano Lutereau, among others. “We really wanted to celebrate La Noche de las Librerías again. From early on, many people came despite the heat that seemed to make them desist,” Buenos Aires Culture Minister Enrique Avogadro told the Telam agency. who are the booksellers who recommend books.”
