As of today, new rules for parking in CABA come into force

The rules for parking in the City of Buenos Aires will change as of today. In that sense, drivers must now take into account whether the place where they leave their car is a street, an avenue or a passage. According to The Nation, as of today, three new rules for parking in the streets of Buenos Aires come into force. In this way, the nine existing ones are left aside, which generated many doubts. In that sense, the new rules are:* In the streets it is allowed to park on both sides 24 hours a day.* In avenues you can park on both sides on weekdays only from 21 to 7.* It will be forbidden to park in passages, arteries that have Metrobus, streets of coexistence and in the space parallel to the bicycle paths. Under this framework, it is only necessary to check if the place where one parks is a street, avenue or a passage. To do this, the Government headed by Horacio Rodríguez Larreta recommends looking at the road nomenclature signs, which indicate if it is an avenue or a passage. In case you don’t say anything, it’s a street. In turn, these modifications, which will be carried out in residential neighborhoods, will generate 28,000 new parking spaces.
