Luisito Comunica in Caja Negra: “I would love to go to space, I have savings for the flight”

Luisillo El Pillo traveled many places and gives us the best stories he lived knowing different cultures. “It’s not just making videos on the Internet: this has weight for people and you have to give them the responsibility and respect they deserve,” he said. He is a great entrepreneur and now expands his business. He has a telephone company, several restaurants, a clothing brand and even a line of Tequila: “I have always liked to visualize myself as an entrepreneur.” I studied Communication, all my life I wanted to be a writer. My way of doing journalism changed a lot, to the point of doing it in video format. Sooner rather than later I discovered that I am good at talking to a camera and I have this creativity. So I think the journalism I was taught I apply more than writing it on video. However, I have already written two books, so in a way I think I got rid of that little fluff that one has. But yes, that’s why I studied communication… as if to get closer to that world,” said the youtuber. About his beginnings on YouTube, he recalled: “When I started making videos there were some Hispanic youtubers but especially English-speaking who were already earning money. Then I saw them and it felt like something very far away. I saw well-produced content… That leaves you the communication career, that everything you see, whether it’s a commercial, a movie, whatever, always in your head you’re measuring production times. But those of us who are dedicated to production see the same. Did they take so long doing this or did they do it? How did they do it? How much did it cost them? How many extras? Then I saw the work of these youtubers and said to see, clearly it is not a movie, but it is a complicated job to make this video took them two days …  And I said it is not possible for it to be free, that is, nobody works for free. Then I started to investigate and I found out that people can make money from YouTube and the truth is that was what motivated me and that’s why I got into this direction. “
In 2016 he started with travel: “Really my career as a youtuber started doing another genre of videos. Then I started to discover that I love to travel and I love how to learn from other cultures nowadays. The truth is that I watch my videos from many years ago and I even feel a little bit of discomfort, of feeling that I was ignorant, disrespectful in many aspects and I am sure that in five or ten years I will say the same thing today. ” If we go to the black box of your life, what is the moment that makes you the person you are today?: “The first time I traveled to Venezuela changed my chip a lot. I was already traveling and making travel videos, but I had no knowledge of the audience elsewhere. I visited Venezuela at a very hard time and felt a special affection from the people. I mean, I’ve never really felt so overwhelmed that so many people told me they trusted me, my work. I had never thought about it and I said, ‘There’s responsibility here, this is someone’s home and I have to respect that.’ Everything I recorded there had a very warm reception from the people. It is very touching and I think that was a moment that I realized that it is not simply making videos on the internet, this has weight to people and you have to give it the responsibility and respect it deserves. ”
