Morelia, Michoacán. – For the 75th Legislature of Michoacán, listening to the voice of children is essential to achieve laws that really benefit that population sector, said Deputy Adriana Hernández Íñiguez, after announcing the realization of the Inclusive Children’s Parliament of the State of Michoacán 2023, she reported through a statement.
The president of the Commission for the Protection of Children and Adolescents stressed that these activities and spaces exist, since, she said, “it is a sector little listened to and when we make laws, even for children, we do them thinking like adults, and that is where they can fail us.”
Deputy Hernández Íñiguez invited minors between 9 and 12 years old to participate in this exercise that will take place on Friday, May 26 at 10 o’clock, in the Plenary Hall of the Legislative Palace.
