Zacapu, Mich.- A cyclist died after being hit by a compact car on the Zacapu-Villa Jimenez highway, police and rescue authorities said.
The incident was recorded this Friday near the entrance to the town of Santa Gertrudis, municipality of Zacapu, just in front of the Pueblo Viejo Motel.
It transpired that the car involved in the mishap, which is of the Nissan Tsuru brand, red, was abandoned at the site, the sources said.

The situation was reported to the emergency number, then local patrol cars arrived, as well as paramedics and the latter confirmed the death of the cyclist, then the uniformed cordoned off the area.
