List, shortlist to elect Commissioner of IMAIP

Morelia, Michoacán.- The three candidates to occupy the position of Commissioner of the Michoacan Institute of Transparency, Access to Information and Protection of Personal Data (IMAIP) were integrated, a decision that will be taken by the Plenary of the 75th Legislature, as reported in a statement.
Previously, the deputies who are members of the United Commissions on Governance and Human Rights listened to and attended the appearances of seven candidates for the position: Ignacio Adame Ascencio, Ruth Nohemí Espinoza Pérez, Roberto García Escobar, Ivonne Peraldi Rodríguez, José Guadalupe Guillen Rojas, Adán Avalos García and Eréndira Sarahí Pérez Ponce.
Among these seven candidates who gathered at the Legislative Palace to present their plan, axes and work project, if elected to the position, the legislators exchanged various points of view, thoroughly analyzed the proposals and work plans of each of them and discussed in order to designate a shortlist, which will later be turned over to the Plenary of the State Congress so that the deputies can elect the next Commissioner of the IMAIP.
In this way, the deputies who are members of the United Commissions on Governance and Human Rights appointed the shortlist that is composed of: Ruth Nohemí Espinoza Pérez, José Guadalupe Guillen Rojas and Roberto García Escobar; among these three candidates, the Plenary of the Legislative Power will elect one to serve for the next three years as Commissioner of the IMAIP from his inauguration.
This meeting was attended by deputies Mónica Lariza Pérez Campos, Julieta García Zepeda, Gloria del Carmen Tapia Reyes, Fanny Lissette Arreola Pichardo and Ana Belinda Hurtado Marín, president of the Governance Commission and members respectively; as well as legislator Laura Ivonne Pantoja Abascal and deputy Víctor Hugo Zurita Ortiz, president and member of the Human Rights Commission.
