With $700 million pesos, Bedolla rehabilitates roads in the Lerma Chapala region

This day, the governor inaugurated the remodeling works of the Jacona-Los Reyes-Peribán highway section.
Tingüindín, Michoacán. Governor Alfredo Ramirez Bedolla announced that the Lerma Chapala region has 700 million pesos to rehabilitate state highways, which includes the municipalities of Los Reyes, Tocumbo, Cotija and Jacona, according to a statement.
After launching the repair of the state highway of Jacona-Los Reyes-Peribán, the president stressed that the resources are part of the Multiannual Plan of the State Government, so the actions will be made without debt and, in addition, during the period of the current administration, they will be given constant maintenance.
Regarding the Jacona-Los Reyes-Peribán highway, he shared that 125 million pesos were invested in a stretch of 50 kilometers for a first stage through which more than 16 thousand vehicles travel daily and despite this, it was abandoned for more than 10 years.
He announced that in the near future the rehabilitation of the second stage from Tocumbo to Cotija will begin, serving 20 more kilometers.
The Secretary of Communications and Public Works, Rogelio Zarazúa Sánchez, indicated that the highway is 12 meters wide and benefits more than 171,000 people in the municipalities of Jacona, Tangamandapio, Peribán, Tingüindín, Tocumbo and Los Reyes.

“Today we respond to the needs of the population by rehabilitating this road that is the one with the highest flow of the entire state network, road to travel more than 16 thousand vehicles daily; In addition, units circulate that contribute to the productive activity of the region and reduce treatment times for emergencies, “he stressed.
The municipal president of Tingüindín, Glenda Mendoza Cruz, thanked the state president for the commitment he has had with the municipalities of the region, demonstrating that he is a municipal governor.
“Today things are different and thanks to the commitment of the governor and the coordinated work, progress is being made in the remodeling of the roads, which were forgotten and in terrible conditions, but today we can see the difference,” he said.
The governor was accompanied by the local deputy, César Enrique Palafox Quintero; Jesús Antonio Mora González, executive member of the State Center for Municipal Development (Cedemun); the municipal presidents of Zamora, Jacona, Peribán, Tocumbo, Los Reyes, Tangamandapio, and Tangancícuaro, and the population in general.
