“Dune: Part Two” with Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya Presents the Magnitude of an Ambitious Continuation in This New Trailer

“Dune: Part Two” released its new trailer that allows a glimpse into the scenic magnitude of an ambitious continuation of the saga that presented its first part six times winner of the Academy Award, in theaters in 2021.The advance picks up from the facts of the first film where Paul Atreides, in the skin of the Oscar-nominated actor (for “Call me by your name”) Timothée Chalamet (which premiered last year ” Bones al all”, and is about to release “A Complete Unknown”, the biopic of Bob Dylan), joins the Fremen and Chani (Zendaya) to recover their territory and thus legitimize the death of their father, Duke Leto Atreides (Oscar Isaac). Thus he will embark on a journey of growth where he will discover that in him rises a hope, that of a messiah that arises in the midst of the war against the oppression of the harkonnen. The second part finished filming in December 2022, and its recordings were made indoors and outdoors in Budapest, Abu Dhabi, Jordan and Italy with the main performances of Rebecca Ferguson, Javier Bardem, Dave Bautista, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård and Christopher Walken, who returned alongside Chalamet and Zendaya. While in turn joining an all-star cast, renowned figures such as: Oscar nominee Austin Butler (“Elvis”, “Once Upon A Time… In Hollywood”), Oscar nominee Florence Pugh (“Black Widow,” “Little Women”), Stephen McKinley Henderson (“Fences,” “Lady Bird”), Léa Seydoux (the “James Bond” franchise and “Crimes of the Future”), and Oscar nominee Charlotte Rampling (“45 Years,” “Assassin’s Creed”). Award-winning director Denis Villeneuve (“The Arrival,” “Prisoners” and “Blade Runner 2045”) returns in charge of the saga, with a screenplay he co-wrote with Jon Spaihts (“Doctor Strange”) and adapting the literary universe written by Fran Herbert, who even inspired George Lucas to create “Star Wars.”Zendaya in “Dune: Part Two”.The filmmaker repeats his behind-the-scenes team that features Oscar-winning cinematographer Greig Fraser; Oscar-winning production designer Patrice Vermette; Oscar-winning editor Joe Walker; Oscar-winning visual effects supervisor Paul Lambert; Oscar-nominated costume designer Jacqueline West. Oscar-winning composer Hans Zimmer (the master in charge of soundtracks such as “The Lion King,” “Interstellar,” “Gladiator,” “Batman: The Dark Knight”), is again on hand to create the score.
