The President received the designated Minister of Labor

President Alberto Fernández received today at Casa Rosada the designated Minister of Labor, Raquel “Kelly” Olmos, in order to deepen the main measures that the labor portfolio will implement. The designated Minister of Labor also met yesterday with the outgoing minister, Claudio Moroni, to coordinate the transition of the portfolio. In a meeting that lasted more than two hours in the Office of the Ministry, the labor lawyer said goodbye to the workers and presented Olmos to the Cabinet.

In the last hours, the historical militant of the Buenos Aires Justicialist Party assured that her responsibility in the labor portfolio will be “to take care of the work and salary of Argentines, that will be my priority” as requested by President Alberto Fernández. “We are going to work to strengthen the salary, it is the greatest commitment that our Government has,” said the new minister in the last hours. Olmos will take office tomorrow during a ceremony led by the President, in which the ministers of Social Development, Victoria Tolosa Paz, and of Women, Gender and Diversity, Ayelén Mazzina, will also be sworn in.
