Michoacán generates confidence in tourism: Asetur

Tzintzuntzan, Michoacán.- With its diverse natural, artistic and cultural riches, as well as safe destinations, Michoacán generates confidence among the secretaries of Tourism throughout the country, to work together for the strengthening of this sector, they reported in a statement.
During the 50th Ordinary Assembly of the Union of Secretaries of Tourism of Mexico A.C (Asetur), held in Tzintzuntzan, Governor Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla shared that in alliance with other states, a market is opened to provide inclusive tourism where Michoacán does its part.
He stressed that this sector boosts the national economy and therefore, the importance of generating safe and attractive conditions for investment, this being an important trigger for tourism.
In Michoacán, he added, work is being done to promote the activities and traditions that give identity to the state, such as the K’uinchekua and the recognition that the federation granted to Cotija as a Magical Town.
To which he asked the secretaries and representatives of Asetur, to continue the work of strengthening tourism taking advantage of the cultural vocations of Michoacán and other states of the country.
Among the topics addressed in this session are the strengthening of connectivity, social networks, dissemination, promotion and tourism marketing, as well as new tourism trends at the national and international level.
Participating in the presidium were Juan Enrique Suárez del Real Tostado, president of Asetur; Roberto Monroy García, Secretary of Tourism of the state, as well as Jessica Lugo, general director of Destination Management and representative of the federal secretary of Tourism, Miguel Torruco Marqués.
At the end of the working session, a tour of some of the most emblematic spaces of the Lake region and the Michoacán capital was made available to the participants.
