Rossi assured that the negotiators before the IMF “will defend the interests of the Argentine people”

Less than a month before the primary elections, Agustín Rossi, pre-candidate for the vice presidency for Union for the Fatherland, gave his opinion on the negotiations with the IMF and the internal one with Grabois. While the negotiations with the IMF are taking place in the United States, the current cabinet chief, in dialogue with AM750, said: “What must be said about the agreement is that there is a very easy way to achieve it: accept what the Fund says. If it is delayed today, it is because our negotiators do not go to the warehouse with the warehouseman’s manual; They are going to defend the interests of all Argentines.” In addition, he explained that the objective they will have with his running mate, Sergio Massa, will be “to pay 100 percent of the debt.” He also maintained that “we have to govern over the real economy of Argentina, which is as it is as a result of a situation that we did not decide as a management: we did not decide to return to the Fund, we did not decide the drought, we did not decide the war in Ukraine.” On the other hand, he referred to the internal within UxP and made it clear that within the ruling coalition there is a “friendly” climate in the face of the PASO and that “this allows us to try to connect with the whole of society and establish a dialogue. Juan Grabois is a valuable colleague, like so many others, and we will certainly work together.” And he closed by declaring that “for the first time in Argentine history we have a right that goes to disbursed face and that does not hide anything. They say they are going to take away rights and that if you resist they will use institutional violence.”
