Airline tickets enter Fair Prices to put a cap on the rise in fares

The Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa, reported that the four airlines operating in the local cabotage market agreed to be incorporated into the Fair Prices program. In this way, increases were scheduled in their cabotage passages that will not exceed 4% per month. The national official announced the news through his account Twitter. There, he explained that the Government agreed to the incorporation into the Fair Prices program of the passenger air transport companies Aerolineas Argentinas, Jet Smart, Flybondi and Andes Líneas Aéreas.De agreement to Bugle, are the only companies that today make scheduled passenger flights in the domestic market.  Under this framework, Massa detailed: “The understanding defined a path of increase in ticket prices of 4% per month between August 1 and November 30.” In this way, he continued: “Aerolineas Argentinas, Jet Smart, Flybondi and Andes join the program with a price path of 4% per month, so that more Argentines can travel around the country from August 1 to November 30.” Finally, the presidential candidate of Union for the Fatherland remarked: “We seek to continue strengthening a sector with record growth since 2019, which expects to register 16 million passengers between domestic and international trips this year and that increased the number of aircraft in all airlines. ”
