Home Safety President of the DIF of Villa Morelos is killed in attempted robbery, in Morelia
Morelia, Michoacán.- On Saturday afternoon, there was a shooting attack against who was identified as the president of the DIF of the municipality of Villa Morelos, outside the old Civil Hospital of the city of Morelia. Unfortunately the victim lost his life at the scene.
The events were reported on Samuel Ramos Street, just in front of an Oxxo, near Isidro Huarte Street, where some versions at the scene indicate that gunmen aboard a motorcycle tried to strip the victim of a white truck and when he opposed he shot him, then fled towards the Cuauhtémoc forest.
To attend the emergency, paramedics from Rescate y Salvamento were mobilized, who tried to help who was identified as José Luis G. but unfortunately he already lacked vital signs. Elements of the Morelia police cordoned off the perimeter to preserve evidence.
Subsequently, the case was alerted to the State Attorney General’s Office, which entrusted the first actions to the Expert Services and Crime Scene Unit, whose agents and experts carried out the procedure of the intervention area.
Finally, the body was uploaded to an ambulance for forensic use transferred to the local morgue for the practice of the necropsy of law. The respective research folder is initiated.
