On the occasion of the celebration of the half century of hip hop, which takes place on August 11, the Billboard Latin and Billboard Español teams “joined forces to honor the most extraordinary and imposing artists of hip hop in Spanish.”
De Residente underlined his ability to play “masterfully different themes, from the party to social commentary and romance”.
Residente will launch a new record production in the coming months and has released two new music videos, “Bajo y Batería” and “Quiero ser Baladista”, by 1868 studios and 5020 Records. “Both videos ranked #1 trending on YouTube globally,” he added.
