Javier Milei anticipated that if he reaches the Presidency he will offer a position to Mauricio Macri

Javier Milei again charged against the Conicet and announced that, if he triumphs in the general elections, Mauricio Macri will be part of his government. The former president has been approaching the liberal front and his relationship with the candidate of La Libertad Avanza is at its best. Milei echoed the situation and assured that if in October he manages to ratify the blow he gave in the PASO, Macri “will have a prominent role as Argentina’s representative in the world,” even above the Foreign Ministry, to “open markets.” In addition, in statements to Radio Mitre, the liberal candidate again stirred up the controversy for his statements against the Conicet and launched new risqué phrases. Milei refused to “continue funding research on Batman’s dilated anus” and said that “with half the employees, NASA is a little more efficient than Conicet.” In another sense, he alluded to the meeting he held hours ago with representatives of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and acknowledged having presented his project for dollarization of the economy. We talked and I explained the financial viability of it. Currency risk would end, there would be no devaluations and the program would be credible and expansionary,” he argued. He added: “Dollarization cannot be done instantaneously. It can take between 9 and 24 months. We are optimistic that it can be done faster. We have to solve the problem of the leliq to open the exchange market faster.”
