Sergio Massa called for the removal of social plans from those who have been involved in looting

Days after the primary elections, where thousands of social inconveniences were generated due to the abrupt devaluation, Sergio Massa raised a request to the Minister of Social Development to take away the social plans of those who are involved in organized robberies and grant non-refundable credits to the merchants who suffered it. In the statement, it was stated: “I am pleased to write to you in order to let you know that I have arranged for the granting of a non-refundable contribution of seven million pesos to the merchants who were victims of the robberies in town and in gang that occurred last week.” And, then, he added that “in merit of this and attentive to the economic effort made by the Government in relation to these events, is that I ask you, please proceed to the suspension, within the framework of the current regulations of the social benefit assigned to the people who have been charged in the different cases for the commission of the crimes described. ” These measures come just a few days after robberies of different groups were registered in the suburbs, and provinces such as Santa Fe, Rio Negro, Córdoba, Neuquén and Mendoza.Sergio Massa in the United StatesDuring his stay in Washington, where he obtained an extension of the loan from the International Monetary Fund (IMF), Massa advanced some of the measures that ended up being taken: “Each of the affected merchants who have the complaint made and who have a verification of the losses, are made a non-refundable contribution.
