The Government froze transport rates in AMBA

The government froze bus and train fares in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA) until after the elections. This move is in line with recently announced pricing agreements. Through Resolution 501/2023 in the Official Gazette, the measure was formalized. Transportation fares in AMBA: how much will the ticket cost in September? After the freeze, the reference rate will be the one that began to take effect from August 1. The values that will govern in AMBA, are the following:* The minimum ticket (between 0 and 3 kilometers): $ 52.96;
* Section of 3 to 6 km: $59;
* Section of 6 to 12 kilometers: $ 63.54;
* Trips from 12 to 27 km: $68.09;
* More than 27 km: $ 72.61.On the other hand, train fares will be as follows:* Mitre Line: the minimum $ 33.28.
* Sarmiento Line: the minimum $33.28.
* San Martin Line: minimum $33.28.
* Tren de la Costa: the minimum $33.28.
