Pablo Moyano opined on a presidency of Bullrich or Milei: “There will be a resistance”

After the results of the primary elections were known, the co-secretary general of the CGT, Pablo Moyano, referred to the possibility that both Javier Milei and Patricia Bullrich would keep the presidency. In a dialogue with AM 990, he explained: “They believe that the leaders are going to stand idly by, watching TV and watching how they fire workers, close companies. Of course there is going to be resistance from those of us who have been on the street historically.” Likewise, the son of Hugo Moyano clarified that “I do not want there to be violence, but I do want mobilization in the streets. Violence is going to be taking away workers’ rights,” and made it clear that “I’m going to be the first to be on the street against these right-wing policies.” On the other hand, he pointed out that “in some provinces it was seen how it had been won two months ago and now the candidate of the right has won. There has not been a militancy of some sectors of our space. It is a self-criticism that we have to do. Hopefully this situation can be reversed.” I include everyone. Union for the Fatherland is the president, vice president, governors, mayors, union leaders and social movements. And I see some sectors that many do not speak,” he added. And he closed by stating that “I am focused and militating so that the next president is Sergio Massa. Sometimes it is hard to think how almost 60% of Argentines chose the right. But it is the product of anger and some measures that unfortunately the Government has not been able to bring solutions to the pockets of Argentines.”
