Morelia, Michoacán.- Two men were badly injured after being attacked with bullets by unknown subjects who immediately fled the place. The act of violence happened on Wednesday night in the Independencia neighborhood, east of Morelia.
According to police authorities, those affected suffered projectile impacts in the head and are in delicate health.
The situation took place on 16 de Septiembre Street, in the vicinity of the Poza Rica gas station. Some people heard the blasts and reported them to 911.
Civil Guard patrol cars and paramedics were present at the site, the latter channeled the injured to a hospital for proper medical attention. One of the patients responds to the name of Francisco A., 46 years old, the other is not identified.
Some witnesses said the attackers fled in a black vehicle, but others said they ran away.
The area was cordoned off and reported to the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE), whose specialists were in charge of the corresponding investigations.
