After not being summoned to the selection, Hermoso pointed against the RFEF: “Protect me from what?”

Yesterday the list of summoned for the selection of Spain was announced and surprised the absence of Jennifer Hermoso. However, at a press conference Montse Tomé explained that the player was not taken into account “to protect her”. This provoked the reaction of the Spaniard and released a statement entitled “Protect me from what?”. Although Hermoso does not appear on the list of 23 summoned, 20 players were included who signed a letter in which they refuse to participate in the two matches. In this way, the Spanish maintains that it is “another strategy of division and manipulation to intimidate and threaten us with legal repercussions and economic sanctions.” In this way, the forward remarked that “nothing has changed”. In addition, he indicated his “total support” to his companions, who “have been surprised and forced to react to another unfortunate situation caused by the people who today continue to make decisions within the RFEF.” Finally, the player alluded to Tomé’s words and concluded: “Today we tried to argue that the environment would be safe for my teammates when in the same press conference it was communicated that they do not summon me to protect me. Protect me from what? Or from whom?”
