The second season of the series “Almost Paradise” premieres

This Wednesday, September 20 at 10pm, the second season of “Almost Paradise” premieres on Universal TV. It will star Christian Kane (Leverage, The Librarians), Samantha Richelle, Arthur Acuña (The Bourne Legacy), Nonie Buencamino (Dagitab) and Ces Quesada (Imbisibol). The story follows the adventures of former DEA agent Alex Walker, who, for medical reasons, was forced to leave behind his past in the force and retire early on an island in the Philippines. Despite doing his best to start a new life where tranquility reigns, he will encounter a world of dangerous people and deadly situations, which will remind him of his old profession. The problem with this is that he likes and enjoys living on the edge despite the fragility of his health. In this new installment, Alex will seek mental balance and give course to his recovery, while he begins to take a liking to gambling addiction and decides to seek company through conventional methods. On the other hand, an ex-love will return to Alex’s life. Actress Lisa Brenner (The Patriot, The Ark) will embody this role and break into the day to day of the former agent in a way that will leave him absolutely stunned. The truth is that this second part will serve to answer several concerns: “There are countless questions that will happen with many different characters and how the island is affecting them; if they are going to stay on the island, if they are going to make it their home, etc. Many questions will also arise for Alex, who is his family?
