Belinda Iturbide Díaz is appointed Secretary of Health in Michoacán

Morelia, Michoacán. – This Wednesday, October 4, when movements are presented in the state cabinet, Dr. Belinda Iturbide Díaz has been appointed as Secretary of Health in Michoacán.
When it was announced that Carlos Torres Piña, presented his resignation to the Secretary of Government of the state, it was announced that the position will be occupied by Elías Ibarra Torres, who was the previous head of the Ministry of Health.
Belinda Iturbide Díaz, is a Surgeon and Midwife, graduated from the Faculty of Medical and Biological Sciences “Dr. Ignacio Chávez” of the Michoacan University of San Nicolás de Hidalgo.

She is originally from the community of Janambó in the municipality of Puruándiro, where she had her own private practice and pharmacy in the same community.
In addition, he came to work at the Regional Hospital of Puruándiro as a General Practitioner; She was a teacher at the Upper Middle Level in the town of Isaac Arriaga for more than a decade.
In politics she became a Local Deputy for District II Puruándiro in the period 2015 – 2018 and Municipal President of Puruándiro for the period 2018 – 2021. Prior to her appointment as Secretary of Health, she was Director of Health Services of the Government of the State of Michoacán.
