Mexico. – The death toll of the accident that occurred early Friday morning on the Oaxaca-Cuacnolapan highway, increased to 18 victims, according to reports from elements of the National Guard and the Attorney General’s Office of the State of Oaxaca.
Gov. Salomón Jara Cruz reported that the people who lost their lives were mostly migrants.
Through his social networks, the president lamented the accident.
“We deeply regret the fatal accident that occurred on the Oaxaca-Cuacnopalan highway, in which several migrants died. Staff of our government is already giving support to those affected. Our condolences to the families of the deceased and all our solidarity and support to the injured.”

In this regard, the Oaxacan prosecutor’s office reported that of the 18 deceased, two are women, three are minors and 13 are men, originally from Venezuela and Haiti.
