Mexico. The Moreno governor of Sinaloa state, Rubén Rocha Moya, said Friday that he is protecting an official, who was accused of alleged sexual harassment.
In a press conference, he said that it is confirmed that he harasses workers of the Justice Center for Women in Culiacán.
However, he said he gave him another chance, but in an area where he can’t harass.
“Yes, I already know him. He is a stalker, but sexual. I already gave him the opportunity. ‘Let’s see, go to a different place, I’m going to protect you, but I don’t want you to do the same.’ Because he was in the Justice Center, because we don’t want harassers of any kind,” he said when questioned.

“But the case of this gentleman, who has been very insistent, is because he has not wanted to. He wants to be where he is, because that’s where he harasses, but he can’t be. Where there are women, no, because it is already proven that he sexually harasses women.”
In the end, he clarified that there is no formal complaint against the harasser to be able to carry out his dismissal.

@juan_ortizmx I already gave him the opportunity, go to a different place, I’m going to protect you,” said Governor Rubén Rocha Moya, who told an official of the Justice Center for Women denounced for sexual and labor harassment. The state governor explained that he has verified with the workers of the instance that he is a sexual harasser. Some local media recorded a public complaint by Miguel Ángel, who was a legal assistant at the Justice Center for Women in Culiacán and exposed being a victim of workplace harassment. He wants to be where he is, because that’s where he harasses. He can’t be where he is because it is already proven that he harasses,” he said. The governor said that he proposed to the official to move him to an area where there are no women so that he does not harass. However, it denoted that the subject does not want to. Without dismissing Rocha Moya was questioned about why this person continues to work for the government when it is already proven that he is a harasser. He replied that there is no criminal complaint, so they cannot remove him from office. In addition, he stressed that relocating the man was a recommendation made by the Secretary of Women, María Teresa Guerra Ochoa. ♬ #amlo #morena #rochamoya #niunamenos #igualdadegenero #feminismo #sinaloa #chismecitopolítico #noticiasen1minuto #politicamexicana #mexico #feminista Disappear – Maniak-B
