World. – A young woman named Germaine Valentina, originally from Venezuela, shared on her TikTok account a video where she is seen singing with a mariachi next to the Eiffel Tower in Paris, France.
The first thing that catches the eye is her clothes, because although she is surrounded by mariachis, she wears a totally different outfit. The recording went viral, receiving thousands of comments.
“I don’t have any family members in the music industry, I don’t have a last name to back me up, I’m not a millionaire, I don’t have a record label, my mom is the one who records my videos. I was bullied at school for singing mariachi music, because the other kids didn’t think it was cool and it wasn’t music from my country. They also didn’t play me on the radio in Venezuela because I was singing Mexican music,” he explained.
