Fito Páez will pay tribute to Gerardo Gandini at the Teatro Colón

In commemoration of the tenth anniversary of the death of composer Gerardo Gandini, Fito Páez will perform at the Teatro Colón next Monday, October 16 at 8 pm, presenting the show “Gandini / Páez Desde el Alma”. The show will be an event that will take the audience on a journey through the musical collaboration between both musicians. The national rock singer will perform the songs that make up the album “Moda y Pueblo” (2005), a work that marked a milestone in his career and that today acquires new nuances and dimensions with the orchestral arrangements of Gandini. The work began as an experiment in the concerts of “Música Esperanza”, continued with a presentation at the National Library organized by Horacio González and finally materialized in a series of shows at the ND / Ateneo in March 2005.No it is the first time that Fito and Gandini sound live at the Colón.  In 1996, the singer performed at the same theater, accompanied by an orchestra and arrangements by Gandini. That experience marked the beginning of a creative relationship that finally crystallized in the album “Moda y Pueblo”. The event promises to be a night of emotions, memories and, above all, exceptional music. Fito, an undisputed icon of Argentine music, pays tribute to an invaluable mentor and collaborator on a stage that symbolizes the greatness of music in Argentina.
