Morelia, Michoacán.- To the rhythm of the tambora, the head of the Broad Front, Xóchitl Gálvez Ruíz, arrived at the facilities of the state leadership of the PRI, dozens of people were anxiously waiting to see the senator and with the band playing at full throttle, she took the time to walk through the streets of the San Rafael neighborhood to be able to greet and take photos with her followers. while she received gifts from the PRI members who accompanied her on her way to the PRI leadership building.
When it was the turn of the former mayor of the delegation, Miguel Hidalgo, to take the microphone, she began her dialogue by emphasizing that Michoacán would not be what it is without the PRI, a comment that fell like a glove for the dozens of militants of the Institutional Revolutionary Party who attentively followed the event from their seats.
The points that the senator touched on were:
Gálvez pointed out that the security strategy of hugs not bullets, presented by the current president of the republic, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, did not work, he alluded that the security issue can be solved, giving municipalities enough resources to guarantee security.
Regarding the issue of health, he recalled the terrible management of the current internal Morena candidate for the leadership of Mexico City, Hugo López-Gatell, and the results after the Covid-19 pandemic.
As far as the countryside is concerned, he mentioned that there is no support or insurance for the workers, the drought is a serious problem and to solve it it is necessary to treat the sewage and send it to the country’s fields.
She mentioned the president of Mexico again, when she recalled that she never said that social programs had to be removed, she went to the National Palace for a right of reply, which she never obtained, so she declared that when she triumphs in the electoral contest, she will open the door of the National Palace to all the people.
Regarding the elderly, he recalled the proposal of the Chamber of Deputies that is to give support to the elderly, from the age of 60, he also wants to return to childcare centers and full-time schools, for mothers who leave work late and have nowhere to leave their children.
Finally, Xochitl Galvez gave a message of unity to the PRI members who gathered at this event:
“I trusted the PRI to achieve this project, I am very happy to be the PRI candidate… What unites us is greater than what divides us.”
