Sergio “Kun” Agüero mocked Boca fans after Copa Libertadores final defeat: “There is only one King of Cups”

Former soccer player Sergio “Kun” Agüero made a Twitch broadcast today in which he spoke, among other topics, about the final of the Copa Libertadores 2023 between Fluminense and Boca last Saturday. “Poor Boca. Well, hey, don’t get upset, that’s it. That was kind of weird because I just saw two friends of mine here in Krü who are from Boca and they went to the field. Today I saw them and they came sad. I gave them a hug and said, ‘What’s it going to be, King of Cups there’s only one‘”, said Agüero when referring to the defeat of Xeneize at the Maracanã stadium. And he added: “You lose, you win and you have to be proud that you reached the final of the Libertadores. It’s not easy. The way Boca has been playing, we have to recognize that it is spectacular, we have to recognize the effort of the players. Also, what do you want? The first half was 99% ball possession for Fluminense against 1% for Boca: How do you want to score a goal like that? Don’t with me. It’s impossible like that.” On the other hand, the former footballer highlighted that the Peruvian Luis Advíncula, author of the goal that led to the partial draw, was the star of the team led by Jorge Almiron. “He was Boca’s best player, without a doubt. Right from the start. To the 11 (Keno) he put two murras and forget it, he didn’t touch it anymore. And that’s where he scored and scored and his goal was well deserved. I remember that some Boca fans used to swear at Advíncula. I’d tell them, ‘Leave the kid who is playing alone. Sometimes he plays badly, sometimes he plays well.’ It happens that we are very passionate here in Argentina and we go further. But Advíncula broke it. I also liked the left-footed midfielder, Equi Fernandez, and Merentiel,” said Kun.Regarding the sending off of Frank Fabra, Agüero acknowledged that he was well sent off by Colombian referee Wilmar Roldan: “What do you want? He slapped himself in the face and had to be kicked out. He forgot that there was VAR, before you were scavenging like crazy.”
