Nicolás Magaldi’s disclaimer after the abrupt end of “Intractables”: “We were not respected”

Nicolás Magaldi took to social media to express his dissatisfaction with the abrupt end of “Intratables”, a series of political debate that returned to the screen of América Tv in its Sunday format and that only lasted a few weeks.  From his twitter account he announced that he was going to talk about the end of the program, and then made a thread to tell how his arrival at the channel was and how his departure was: “My idea of arriving in America at the end of 2022 was always to make Intractables, why? I found it a very attractive format as a professional and it was a great challenge. I did a lot to get to drive it,” he began. “In January I started EPA with Corner production and it was a wonderful project. Once it was over, I was off the air for a few months. Luckily, years ago I had my GREAT ENTREPRENEURSHIP @ritvu that does not stop growing making TV commercials, productions for big brands,” he continued. “In winter, in one of those jobs that I have to do, I received a call from the channel’s management to do INTRACTABLES (SOS EL CONDUCTOR). I didn’t want to overlook that in the summer I did a pilot to be the HOST of this program“, he remarked. And he recalled the exact date on which he was summoned: “IT WAS JANUARY 19 on my birthday, I was there fulfilling a personal challenge. He left happy with me. But time passed and it never came,” he continued. “Once I got that call I said yes, I can do it (then we fixed it). The program was going to be made until December and after these days affected by a SATSAID STRIKE on TV and the economic factors that are seen affecting the channel, it was decided that we would not continue on the air,” Added. It was at that point that he spoke directly to the audience and thanked them for their accompaniment: “As I could not say goodbye on screen, I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for this time shared. I am convinced that each program does its best to make a high-voltage debate with respect and professionalism.” At the same time, he expressed how he acted towards his colleagues: “I appreciate the interest of many colleagues asking why they lifted it. I only know from the talk I had with the channel that they were satisfied with my work. I sent a message to all my wonderful classmates who went through this cycle and taught me so much. Great journalists that I admire.” There are no laps other than the merry-go-round itself. Don’t make a topic bigger than that. It’s an end of cycle and a see you soon on screen. Finally, I thank myself for being so consistent and persevering. I accomplished something wonderful personally. I’m accompanied by my family, the best thing I have. Now it’s time to keep working.
