Rodrigo de Paul spoke about how Tini experienced the World Cup: “I couldn’t protect her”

The story between Rodrigo De Paul and Tini Stoessel seems to be over, however the midfielder remembers it with great affection and in a recent interview for ESPN he talked about what it was like to go through their relationship during the most important moment of his football career. There, De Paul recalled his time at the World Cup in Qatar, where Argentina was crowned World Champion, and the mixed feelings he experienced, since his partner was not having a good time. In the interview series Campeones, a year later, which airs on Star+, Rodrigo told about those days: “After Arabia it was tough. Because of something that had happened to me, which was not winning the first match, Tini was being hit hard. She would get upset and I didn’t have a way to protect her other than on the court.”Narrated. He also revealed the recommendation he made to both the singer and her family who traveled to cheer him on in the Group Stage: “I knew that if we didn’t beat Mexico, she was going to have a hard time that day. I told them, ‘If this is still tied in the last 10 or 15 minutes, go away.'”Warned. To close the subject, the midfielder reflected: “It’s crazy. Because you wonder what it has to do with it. There are some things that unfortunately as a society we have to improve. That we are heading in a direction that makes no sense, always looking for culprits. That match was very special because of that,” he recalled.  The relationship between Rodrigo de Paul and Tini came to an end in August of this year and both decided to communicate the news through a statement that they shared at the same time from their social networks. Since then, neither has been shown as a couple again, and rumors of reconciliation resonate strongly. However, neither the singer nor the athlete echoed the issue.
