It will be in Deseo, located in the Buenos Aires neighborhood of Villa Ortúzar, and he will share a date with Ana Hagen and Ciberfobia.The Ecuadorian musical artist born in France became known with his first album, “Prender el alma” in which he takes Ecuadorian folklore to other forms of expression. His music has led him to perform at festivals such as Primavera Sound, Roskilde, Sonar, Fuji Rock and MUTEK. On her second studio album, “Siku” (2019), Nicola expanded her exploration to other parts of the continent and the world, highlighting music as a collaborative exercise. In 2021, Nicola Cruz released two EPs, both sharing the same birth year but differing significantly. “Subtropique” stands out for its solid base of percussion and psychedelic elements, constantly inviting you to dance. On the other hand, “Sentimientos Encontrados” presents explorations focused on South American electronic music, relying on rhythmic elements such as dembow. With percussion always as the main voice of his music, Nicola Cruz proposes an innovative concept in each project.
