The head of LLA deputies defended the DNU and requested two sessions in January

After a chaotic week following the Decree of Necessity and Urgency published by President Javier Milei last Wednesday, the head of the bloc of deputies of La Libertad Avanza (LLA), Oscar Zago, defended the constitutionality of the same. Four days after the DNU that aroused an immediate reaction from the political arc, Zago warned that it is necessary to make “a 180-degree turn in the face of a situation in the country that does not allow for more.” Likewise, the head of the bloc of deputies explained that the new bill prepared by LLA will be sent “between Tuesday and Wednesday” to be discussed during the month of January. In this sense, Zago recalled that the bicameral for the DNU must still be completed and specified that “there are still two or three blocs that send their candidates.” On the second of January we are going to start with the discussions. We will have a session in the first few days and we hope to have another one in the next 15 days,” he said. On the other hand, the president of LLA in the Lower House referred to the upcoming mobilization called by the CGT. “It seems that the prince came, gave them a kiss and they woke up, they are like sleeping beauty. The President is like the Manosanta, he has woken up people who were asleep. For four years they were not present, but welcome to the discussion,” Zago added.
