Campazzo closed the year with a brilliant performance for Real Madrid

After a brief stint in the NBA, Facundo Campazzo went through a successful season in his third cycle at Real Madrid and, with this morning’s win in which he scored 17 points, he closed a prosperous year in the ACB League. Since his return to the Spanish club, the Argentine basketball player has once again brought a smile to the fans’ faces with outstanding performances in both the ACB and the Euroleague against the best teams on the continent. So much so that, at the end of November, the Argentine averaged his best performance of the season against Fenerbahçe with 33 points, two rebounds and seven assists. To close a year of activity in Europe, after his time at Crvena Zvezda Belgrade, the Cordoba native was a starter this Sunday in Chus Mateo’s team and, in almost 25 minutes on the court, he did not disappoint with his performance: he scored 17 points and provided seven assists for the final victory by 83 to 74. He also averaged 2/3 on double-shot shots; 3/8 on three-pointers and 4/6 on free throws, and only lost one ball. With the victory, the Spanish team remains in first place in the Liga ACB with 15 points and one defeat, which leaves them with a slight difference over Unicaja, located in second place with 13 wins and three losses.
