The pre-candidate for the presidency of the republic, for the Broad Front, Xóchitl Gálvez Ruiz, agreed to participate in the search for the disappeared together with Cecilia Flores, founder of the collective Madres Buscaras de Sonora.
The standard-bearer of the opposition defined the crisis of the disappeared as the most painful tragedy that the country has had and the worst failure of the federal government since the situation that the country is experiencing is due to the lack of public security, currently there are already 170 thousand murders and 46 thousand disappearances during the mandate of Andrés Manuel López Obrador.
Gálvez Ruiz mentioned that in the face of disappearances, empathy for the pain of the families is required, as well as a budget, accompaniment from the Prosecutor’s Office, support in emotional health and scholarships for orphans.
Regarding the fact of carrying out a search where Claudia Sheinbaum Pardo also participates, the senator on leave mentioned: “She is not going to go because she is afraid, the other lady is not going to face the searching mothers because she says that everything is fine. She says that in Mexico people are very happy.”
