San Juan: A woman stabbed a man to death and fled

A woman stabbed a man to death in San Juan and fled. The incident occurred around 10 p.m. on Thursday in a building located on Sarassa Street, in the Trinidad neighborhood of the provincial capital. The incident was discovered thanks to a 911 call made by a neighbor. It was around 11 p.m. when an officer arrived at the scene and, upon inspecting the apartment, found a scene in which at first glance it could be seen that an act of violence had occurred there. The policeman first looked out of a window and when he saw that traces of blood were scattered all over the place, he decided to break down the door, which was locked. When he managed to enter, already in the dining room of the apartment he found the lifeless body of a man who was later identified as Juan Bubica, 68 years old. The place was the scene of an extreme confrontation: glass bottles scattered throughout the apartment, which showed that they were thrown in the midst of the violence. There were blood stains on the floor, walls and bed. Faced with this scenario, the officer communicated the situation. The Justice, for its part, requested the presence of forensic experts and to preserve the place so as not to contaminate the evidence. When the forensic doctor arrived, in a visual examination of the corpse, he said that the victim had several superficial cuts and others deep caused by a knife. One of those wounds was fatal because it was applied to the left thigh at the level of the femoral, and that was the cause of the bleeding and death. Bubica’s body was finally lifted and taken to the Judicial Morgue for an autopsy. The scene of the crime was placed under police custody while the investigation continues to clarify this tragic incident. Security cameras near the scene are being surveyed to find the murderous woman, whose filial details were not disclosed.
