Bullrich asked the Justice to expel foreigners who commit crimes in the country

The Minister of Security, Patricia Bullrich, demanded on Tuesday that the Justice expel foreigners who commit crimes in the country and do not have permanent residence in Argentina. In the event that there are people who usurp land who are foreigners who do not have a permanent domicile in Argentina, the justice system should proceed to expel them from the country immediately,” Bullrich said in radio statements. In this sense, the member of the President’s Cabinet, Javier Milei, argued: “Whoever comes to usurp, to kill, must be expelled unless he was born in Argentina or has a permanent residence. That is a corrective measure that needs to be done immediately.” Days before, other officials demonstrated under the same argument, as was the case of Jorge Macri, head of the Buenos Aires government, who demanded the reinstatement of a decree that was signed in 2017, when Bullrich was also in charge of the Security portfolio. The same was done by the Minister of Security of Buenos Aires, Waldo Wolff, who backed up his claim with statistics from the City. The Minister of the Interior, Guillermo Francos, also adhered to the request to expel foreigners who commit crimes in Argentina and considered that they must “comply with the sentence” imposed on them, and then be “expelled from the country with a prohibition of re-entry.”
