Water, regional and educational works, priority in 2024: Luis Navarro – MonitorExpresso.com

Morelia, Michoacán.- With a purse of one thousand 530 million pesos, the State Contributions Fund for the Infrastructure of Municipal Public Services 2024 (Faeispum) will give priority to regional, water and educational works.
The Secretary of Finance and Administration, Luis Navarro, reported the above and announced that 40 percent of the resources of the Faeispum will be allocated to regional works, precisely because of the economic and social impact they generate in the different areas of the state of Michoacán.
“We will allocate 30 percent to the water issue, since water is a priority for the administration headed by Governor Alfredo Ramírez Bedolla. We must remember that Michoacán is facing drought and that, in addition, there are still many homes that do not have water connections,” he added.
Luis Navarro explained that the remaining 30 percent of the Faeispum 2024 purse will be oriented to general and educational topics. “The general items can be sports spaces and pavements, among others, while the educational ones will focus on the schools because education is fundamental for the formation of current generations,” he said.

Finally, he said that there will be a “level playing field for all Michoacán municipalities,” which must submit pending accounts of previous works, if applicable, and strictly comply with the rules of operation.
