“Human Resources”: the film starring Juana Viale arrives

On February 29, “Human Resources” arrives in theaters, the sixth film directed by Mexican Jesús Magaña Vázquez that adapts the novel of the same name by Antonio Ortuño. The writer participated in the script along with Magaña and Fernando del Razo. Gabriel Lynch (Pedro de Tavira Egurrola), probably the smartest in his company’s Printing Division, asks to be the floor manager when the position becomes vacant. But the arrival of the inexperienced and recommended Constantine (Giuseppe Gamba) prevents it, and unleashes a series of unthinkable consequences. Gabriel accepts the fate that the system had in store for him, until his new boss snatches his girlfriend Lizbeth (Cecilia Ponce) from him. He then takes power at his fingertips, discovering that there are always new territories to conquer. It will star Pedro de Tavira Egurrola, Giuseppe Gamba, Cecilia Ponce, Juana Viale, Daniel Tovar and Alejandra Herrera. “For me it was a different story, because it reflected the chiaroscuro of the wild fauna of today’s corporate world through the eyes of a dark antihero. When I decided to make the film, in 2012, our cinema didn’t even have comedies about office workers,” the filmmaker said in a press release. Photo: Courtesy of the press
