Rosario: Investigation into the fire of another taxi near the scene of Diego Celentano’s crime

A taxi caught fire in Rosario’s southern area on Wednesday night, three blocks from the spot where 38-year-old taxi driver Diego Celentano was killed last week. The incident occurred at 11 p.m. and no one was injured. This is the second taxi to be set on fire in a week, as last Thursday another car was intentionally attacked while parked. In this case, the primary experts showed that the fire would have been generated from an electrical fault. The owner of the car told police she heard an explosion while she was at her home and later saw the Prisma on fire. The vehicle was rendered unusable as flames advanced over the electrical wiring, dashboard, and both the front and rear seats. In any case, the investigation continues as the car had a broken fuel tank cap. Violence in Rosario against taxi driversThe fire in the taxi is still being investigated, as there is a history of violence against vehicles and their drivers in Rosario. Last week, during the night, two workers were murdered: Héctor Raúl Figueroa (43) and Celentano.
