Italian designer Roberto Cavalli dies at 83

Italian designer Roberto Cavalli died Friday at the age of 83 in his hometown of Florence, the fashion company that bears his name said in an Instagram post. Cavalli was distinguished by her glamorous style and her extravagant animal print designs and the imprint of her prints at an international level, great Hollywood stars wore her garments, while in our country, Susana Giménez imposed her dresses in the most well-known and important galas throughout her career. Cavalli has been married for 15 years to Sandra Bergman Nilsonn, with whom he has a son together, Giorgio. The designer leaves behind six children from his three marriages. The latter was born in 2023.Passionate about fashion and coming from an aristocratic family, the designer patented a leather printing process in the 70s and began to create patchworks of materials and colors. In addition, in that decade he presented his first collection in Paris, becoming one of the international references of haute couture. In September 2015, Roberto Cavalli starred in his last fashion show and, that same year, he handed over control of his firm to the investment fund Clessidra.
