Morelia, Michoacán.- After four days of competitions in the discipline of surfing, together with the start of taekwondo and badminton activities, the State Commission of Physical Culture and Sports (Cecufid) reports the harvest of 21 more medals to the medal table of the Conade 2024 Nationals, they reported in a statement. A great performance was the one that Michoacan surfing starred in with its national teams from Playa Azul and its surroundings, challenging the waves of Manzanillo, Colima during four days of intense competition, obtaining 11 medals: five golds, three silvers and three bronzes, all in the boadyboard modality. Thanks to the gold medal of Fernanda Ramírez Anguiano (15-16 years old category); as well as the gold and silver of Jesús Rogelio Ramos Armenta (15-16 years old); gold by Jesús Santiago Pérez Carmón (17-18 years old); silver and gold for Flavio Guevara Pacheco (12-14 years old); silver for Andy Kale Medina Aguilar (15 and 16 years old); gold and bronze for Alan Sevilla Pérez (15 and 16 years old) and the bronzes by Miguel Ángel Acuña (17-18 years old) and Mercedes del Rosario Guerrero Herrera (17-18 years old). On the other hand, in Guadalajara, Jalisco, taekwondo started activities with nine medals: three golds, two silvers and four bronzes. The first of them fell by Carlos Gómez (bronze) in the Cadets category of the Poomsae modality; while in Combat, Naiara Ochoa (-27 kilograms), Ailany Rivera (-33 kg) and Kevin Reyes (-57 kg) did the same in first place. The silvers in the same competition went to Bruno Martínez (-57 kg) and Miguel Gutiérrez (-49 kg). Finally, the bronzes are obtained by Emily Hernández (-46 kg), Guillermo Pérez (-33 kg) and Mía Fuentes (-39 kg). In badminton, which is underway in Campeche, the U-15 team made up of Juan Pablo Martínez, Diego Bautista, Rogelio Loeza, Sandro Zavala, Valentina Zavala, Romina Ruiz, Sofía Alcántara and Sofía Guerrero, climbed to third place on the podium. At the moment, our entity registers 68 medals in the medal table of Conade 2024 Nationals, with 22 golds, 22 silvers and 24 bronzes. The activities will continue in Guadalajara and Campeche, with both disciplines.
