Novak Djokovic and Carlos Alcaraz will face each other again next Sunday in the Wimbledon final and will repeat the previous year’s duel, which the Spanish won in five sets. Alcaraz, number three in the ATP world ranking, defeated Russian Daniil Medvedev (5th) in one of the semifinals by 6-7(1), 6-3, 6-4 and 6-4. For his part, Djokovic, number two in the world, beat Italian Lorenzo Musetti (25th) 6-4, 7-6 (2) and 6-4.De this way, the Spanish will go in search of his fourth Grand Slam title. In addition, at only 21 years old, he equaled Manolo Santana’s four major tournament finals and is positioned as the second Spanish with the most decisive instances played, behind Rafael Nadal.For his part, the Belgrade native reached his tenth Wimbledon final and sixth in a row, equaling Bjorn Borg’s record. In turn, he will be looking for his eighth title on English soil and his 25th title in this type of tournament.
