The action of the young footballers caused the FMF Disciplinary Commission to open an investigation against them and subsequently issue them sanctioning a match of suspension and financial fine, in addition to the Coapa club informing that those involved would take a gender perspective course taught by experts from the National Commission to Prevent and Eradicate Violence against Women (Conavim).
