The Ministry of Health of the Nation confirmed on Tuesday 1,374 new cases of coronavirus across the country, so the total number of contagions since the pandemic began is 34,159. Of the total confirmed cases, 1,030 are imported, 13,340 are close contacts of confirmed cases and 13,602 are cases of community transmission. The rest is under epidemiological research.
On Friday, 797 cases were recorded in the province of Buenos Aires, 488 in the city of Buenos Aires, 23 in Chaco, 1 in Chubut, 1 in Córdoba, 1 in Corrientes, 12 in Entre Ríos, 3 in Mendoza, 28 in Neuquén, 17 in Río Negro and 3 in Santa Fe.This Tuesday died in total 24 people, 16 in the evening report published in the last minutes and 8 in the morning report. So far 878 people have died.
The 16 people who died this Tuesday afternoon are seven men: two of 53 and 71, residing in the province of Buenos Aires; three 76, 69 and 76 years old, residents in the City of Buenos Aires and two of 69 and 77 years, resident in the province of Chaco.Nine women: two of 76 and 51 years, residents in the province of Buenos Aires; six, 77, 90, 91, 86, 69 and 80 years old, resident in the City of Buenos Aires and one of 84 years, resident in the province of Neuquén.
