CDMX.- In order to prevent Covid-19 contagion, the Mayor of Cuajimalpa reported that from 31 October to 2 November, the pantheons will be closed. The Mayor of Cuajimalpa reported that the pantheons that will remain closed are El Calvario de San Pedro Cuajimalpa, San Pablo Chimalpa, San Lorenzo Acopilco, San Mateo Tlaltenango and Jardines de Santa Elena in Zentlapatl.

The Mayor of Cuajimalpa noted through a statement that at the instruction of the Government and the Ministry of Health of Mexico City, these spaces will continue to be closed.
It should be noted that the pantheons of Cuajimalpa have been closed since 20 March and only burials are served under strict health measures. The statement mentions that burials are only allowed for up to 10 to 15 people, with mandatory use of mouth cover, antibacterial gel, temperature intake and healthy distance. The Mayor of Cuajimalpa invited the neighbors to stay home on the Day of the Dead, because in the Mayor’s Office there are five colonies at red light, including San Mateo Tlaltenango, San Lorenzo Acopilco and San Pedro Cuajimalpa.In case the Head of Government, Claudia Sheinbaum announces a change in the epidemiological to yellow traffic light, the opening with in income of 30% visitors and strict health measures will be assessed.
